Christmas is coming, with Santa Clauses, Christmas trees, happy children and adults celebrating this ancient winter festival. Although widely known to be peculiar to Christianity, Christmas has also its roots in pre-Christian festivals; Saturnalia, and Sol Invictus to name some. No matter what the origin is and what it means, it’s a good reason to celebrate and enjoy the holiday season. People with different nationalities and religious beliefs (Christians, Jews, Muslims, atheists …) gather together and say “happy holiday” even if they don’t want to say “Merry Christmas”!
Listen to “Last Christmas” (1984) by George Michael from here.

Hip hop lovers don’t miss “Promiscuous girl”! (2006) by Nelly Furtado:
Thanks Raha,
Merry Christmas to you too.
Har bahanei baraye shaad boodan ghanimate; dorost baraxe oon chizi ke yademoon dadand!
Sonnathaye ghalat bayad be khatere ghalat boodaneshoon door rikhte beshand na be khatere sonnati boodaneshoon.
